We recommend that all servers are backed up using an online imaging solution, so that in the event of a serious server failure, we can restore your whole system quickly. The backup data is stored securely, ensuring that whatever happens to your site or equipment, your data is protected. The backup solution deployed by Wycom uses technology from StorageCraft called ShadowProtect, which creates sector-level backup images of your Windows server disk drives. ShadowProtect takes a regular image of your server, including all of the software installed, which is written locally to a USB hard drive or other NTFS storage device that is attached to your server. At the same time, we also push the encrypted data to our storage servers in the cloud. If the data is required in large volumes Wycom Technology will deliver the data direct to your business to reduce time loss.
